I was looking forward to getting the top half of my puzzle done so I could move it up on the table and connect the border.
I met my goal after breakfast this morning and I was tickled to see that it was a win win!Not only did I get to move up and connect.....but by finishing ALL the reds...I also had a straight and clear path from the top to the bottom. And if you've been paying attention....you know how I love that!
My path on anything is hardly ever straight and clear. So these small and silly wins are fun....mostly because I choose them to be.
Attainable goals and silly celebrations = Joy!
And before I left the table....I pulled out all the blues and greens for the next set of books. And that = joy too!
Your enjoyment of puzzling sparked me to make a thousand-piece puzzle with my granddaughter when we shared a few days with her and her family in a rented house in October. Working on that puzzle together was such a delight. We'll be hanging out again in a rented house for a few days just ahead of Christmas. I don't know if the rental will have puzzles so I'm hoping to borrow one from our community center : )
ReplyDeleteThe joy of a straight and clear path! HUGE!!!
I remember when you did the puzzle with your granddaughter....and I hope you have another chance. Group puzzling IS a delight!
