Summer Splurge

Once a summer Paul and I splurge and have a lobster roll from the food truck at Portland Headlight. 

It's much more economical to have lobster at home....but there's something special about this setting that draws us in for a summer splurge. The rain had stopped and the humidity was down...so today was the day.

We had a delightful time walking around the park...
and enjoying a little dose of the beautiful Maine Coast.

    Captivating setting and great idea for dinner!

    You've triggered a memory: We had lobster rolls at our minimalist wedding reception in the basement of the church where we married—they were made by the ladies' guild and got RAVE reviews!

      How cool is that! There's nothing better than a church basement wedding reception....other than one with lobster rolls! Yay!
